These are my final outcomes for my Graphic Design 2 Final Assignment. We were required to create three posters for a Curtin University Film Festival. Throughout this process, I have taken on board concepts such as hierarchy, typography, and readability to improve my poster designs. For Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I want my viewers to notice the film title and Audrey Hepburn’s name at first sight before the illustration and event details. For American Beauty, I want the viewers to notice the illustration first so they understand the film tackles gun control (a major issue in America) as well as romance (the rose symbolising love). I also changed around the layout of the event details, logos and credits to lessen their visual impact. I revisited some of the readings and concepts I learned from previous Typography and Creative Design Studios units to understand how to create a stronger hierarchy.
